There are, however, a few minor changes to the prototype being implemented on the production units, and the lead-time to shipment for the DevKit and TiniLCD is currently running at four weeks. TiniLCD DevKit is a development kit for use with the TiniLCD consitsting of an LED backlit LCD module, an IDC cable, a breakout PCB and a 3X4 keypad. It does not include the TiniLCD module itself which should be purchased separately. For more details of the TiniLCD click here.

Here is a picture of the TiniLCD Devkit installed in a system. This picture shows a Dallas E20 development board with a TiniLCD module installed and the TiniLCD DevKit connected to it via the IDC cable. The IDC cable actually carries all the necessary signals to drive STN/TFT/COLOUR/MONO LCDs up to 320x240 dots resolution (1/4 VGA), the breakout PCB connects the relevant signals to the LCD and keypad connectors. (Note: The keypad shown here is a 4x4 keypad. The one supplied with the DevKit is a 3X4 keypad)

The software necessary to demonstrate and use this product, along with all the schematics so that users can develop their own breakout PCBs, will be posted on this site as soon as the update to the production units is complete.
